This place has changed hands a few times lately but the present owners are really good. Quality food and excellent portion sizes. Their kebabs are pretty perfect or kebab and chips even better. Highly recommended.

The food at this chippy is great! Its amazing what some people complain about, in fact, they only take to the internet when they have a complaint. What a society of trolls we are becoming.Admiringly, Ive waited more than ten minutes, during busy times, as in all good chippys, but well worth the wait!Ive been going to this chippy for years under different ownership, good and bad, and the current owners are no less prudent than the any of the previous owners, always friendly and attentive.As to the food; its great! Excellent quality fish, definitely the best for miles around, always freshly prepared, and served by friendly and polite staff. I must say the atmosphere is much more relaxed than when previous owner were there. Anyway, dont take my word for it, try it for yourself. Highly recommend!!!
Please consider acknowledging there is a 'potential' customer waiting in the premises... To be asked if they would like to order food to take away. Terrible customer service !!! 10 minutes waiting, 3 staff, 2 people being served, they left and in the time I was there 2 more walked in (were asked what they wanted) I was dumbfounded and thought it was funny, I just left.. (to never return) This was once a good chippy with previous owners imo. Very insulting when others are chosen to be served but not you.
